Abstract

The present text is the report of partial results of a research where it is intended to describe the cultural environment of the Technical School Councils at the level of Preschool Education, understood as a collegial space, in which the school collectives meet to exchange, discuss and analyze the problems that arise in the teaching and learning process. The Council meetings are intended to encourage reflection and find an answer to the concerns and pedagogical needs that are faced in the daily educational task. With this research we try to know and detail the events, the forms of intervention and communication, the perceptions, the processes of interaction and individual and collective action of these collegiate groups; to be in direct contact with its actors, to observe the daily life of its practices, forms of organization and functioning. The present study is ascribed to the tradition of the interpretative paradigm with the support of the method of ethnographic inquiry, using data collection techniques such as; the participant observation made in different School Technical Councils and in-depth interviews with Educators and Directors.
