Abstract

The document presents the research review of the Degree in Educational Intervention of the National Pedagogical University UPN or UPNECH in Chihuahua, Mexico, for the 2002, when it is operated nationwide, 16 years of experience, detects a relevant evaluation on this curricular design first at the University level in Mexico; program developed under the competence approach endorsed by the educators of Spain at the time, beginning the 21 is century. The work proposes an investigation on the linkage between the conceptual tools promoted in the exit profile of the educational in parallel with the integral formation generated through the two áreas if initial formation, the firts in social sciences and second in education; in addition to the six lines of profesional speciality. It retakes central concepts on the approach by competences for higher education in Mexico positioning it self in the renowned theorists prominent among the appear; De Sousa Santos, Unigarro Gutiérrez, Gimeno Sacristan among many more. The novelty of the paper turns out to be the analysis that deals with the identity of this new profesional who has been lurking over 12 generation and counting. The richness that contributes to the field of curricular knowledge transcends methodological barriers thanks to the fact this time it systematizes evidences of a second updating of the competencies of the indicative programs of that curricular design in the specific of the initial training área in social sciences.
