Abstract

This document proposes, from the perspective of restorative justice, some implications of the human right to peace in the field of education. This is because it arises as a problem that there are theoretical guidelines from Unesco regarding education for peace, but it is necessary to show mechanisms and perspectives to carry it out. For this purpose, a theoretical review is made in the specialized literature to analyze the values of justice, truth and dignity, which are interrelated with peace and are reflected in both global and particular scenarios. This work refers that the implementation in schools of peaceful processes to resolve conflicts helps to unlearn violence, since it arises from socialization in accordance with Unesco guidelines. This implementation, like any peaceful action, is appreciated from the perspective of imperfect peace, where any experience of peace, no matter how minimal, is considered for the construction of more harmonious human relationships.
