Abstract
On different occasions, academic assessment maintains a negative connotation or tends to be related exclusively to aspects of numerical evaluations in decimal or centesimal scales, however, the potential of assessment goes further in search of strengthening educational quality, thus arising the question: How are assessment, education and creativity related in students of the Venustiano Carranza High School in Torreón, Coahuila? The study population is made up of 150 subjects from the 3rd and 4th semesters to whom an instrument with 10 signal variables and 158 items related to the phenomenon under study was applied, having a centesimal ratio scale. The main results point out that assessment is the backbone that helps individuals accentuate their gifts of creativity and originality, it was also found that the fact that teachers include qualitative evaluations in their planning constitutes a bridge for the development of the authenticity of the subject to consolidate an impact on the quality of life. It was concluded that the fulfillment of the student’s academic goals resides in the implementation of quantitative evaluations, which will be a key pillar to promote responsible behavior that guides the achievement of any objective. Finally, the intervention proposals expose the consolidation of a model emphasized in a quality education that has assessment, creativity and pragmatic learning as axes within the school syllabus.
